Volunteering with Edmonton Aboriginal Seniors Drop-In Centre
Our community profile is maintained through our memberships, partnerships, collaborations, and through the active participation of volunteers, and we would love to have you on the team!

Volunteers play a vital role in our organization; they assist with program and service implementation and delivery, communication and clerical duties, companionship/chaperoning trips, cooking and cleaning and everything in between. Volunteers are the foundation of our Centre and all that it encompasses. We appreciate and value their time and assistance. Volunteers are a special gift to any agency, and the time they give is very much appreciated.

Requirements:
• Genuine desire to help
• Friendliness of manner
• Commitment of time to the volunteer task

Training:
• An interview with the volunteer coordinator followed by orientation and initial training
• Ongoing support and training
• Annual refresher orientation course

Duties:
• Cooking
• Preparing food and beverages
• Clean-up, etc.
